Having had a number of meetings this week about “the cloud” it would appear that whatever way you turn it is a buzz word looming over accounting software. There are the benefits of being able to access your information from anywhere with an internet connection, with the problems that arise if no connection can be found.
Whether in a personal or professional capacity, the majority of people have used the cloud in some way, whether this is using various phone apps, Dropbox, Gmail or simply even checking your statements via online banking.
There is no one-size fits all solution, which is abundantly clear from the number of solutions out there, it is importantly about choosing the solution that suits you.
We are exploring the area of bookkeeping solutions based in the cloud. The benefits of this are that we would be able to access information for the accounts without requiring a backup, we have experienced backups going missing on the journey from the client to us, and if you have a query we are able to log in and see what you see whilst speaking to you.
Over the next couple of months we will be looking at holding an event looking at the Kashflow option for people to attend and find out more. If this would be of interest to you please get in touch and let us know.
