The dates for the Autumn Statement 2012 have been released. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, will begin proceedings on Wednesday 5 December at 12.30pm. The draft Finance Bill 2013 clauses are due for release six days later on the 11 December 2012.
The Autumn Statement will provide an update on the Government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility. These forecasts will be published alongside the Autumn Statement on 5 December.

The draft Finance Bill 2013 clauses will put into motion many of the measures announced last March. The draft clauses will be open for comment until 6 February 2013.
